We are 100% dedicated to making motorhome hire and campervan hire owners the highest possible income from the hire of your vehicle with no financial risk whatsoever.

We are fully open and honest about our charges and display Owners Hire Rates and Hire Charges on our websites.

We started this business with a huge amount of integrity and honesty, and have never deviated from these founding principles.

A 6 berth motorhome* will earn you  £520 per week in summer.

A 4 berth motorhome* will earn you £470 per week in summer.

A 2 berth motorhome* will earn you £440 per week in summer.

* These rates are for motorhomes and campervans that are categorised as “A” Class under our unique motorhome classification system. Owners of older motorhomes can also make great returns on their investment.

In addition, most of our members make substantially more than these figures by offering additional services to hirers, such as Airport Deliveries (we advise owners to charge between £1.00 - £2.00 per mile for this service), Bedding Charges (we advise a suitable rate of around £10 per person per hire for this service to cover cleaning and preparation costs), Pet Charges (we advise owners to charge in the region of £30 per pet per hire (as hirers will be charged substantially more for kennel and cattery charges). Some owners charge for sat nav equipment, outdoor barbeques, furniture etc. Please view other owners webpages to gauge their pricing.

We will provide the following Services to owners:

• We will provide you with your own full webpage to display your motorhome or campervan, with up to 6 pictures of your vehicle, free text boxes where you record all of the high points and extras included with your ‘van’ and state any restrictions or rules that you may have. You will have a dedicated availability calendar where you can “Block Out” dates where you do not wish your vehicle to be available for hire (e.g. when you are using it yourself, or have promised it to family or friends).

• We provide online enquiry and booking forms for your vehicle (on your webpage) where interested hirers can make enquiries or directly book your vehicle.

• We will provide full instructions to owners regarding the hire of your motorhome or camper. We will advise you regarding the demonstration of your vehicle and the paperwork that has to be completed.

• We will deal with all enquiries for your vehicle, by email and phone, deal with bookings and record all of the necessary information, process deposits and balance payments and importantly, deal with the collection and retention of Security Deposits to protect your investment.

• We will notify you when we have a confirmed booking for your vehicle (where upon you will update your calendar with the dates of hire).

• We will always contact you after a hire has completed, to ensure that your vehicle was returned in a satisfactory manner, and will assist you to deal with any problems encountered.

• We will always ensure that your motorhome or campervan is restored to the condition that it went out on hire.

• We will pay you for any booking once we receive the balance (payable by hirer). This is normally 8 weeks before the start date of hire.

• We will promote your motorhome on our network of websites (Motorhome City, Hirebuddies, Easy Motorhome and Freedom of Scotland Motorhome Hire (when applicable)), as well as by means of traditional advertising (magazines etc). Our staff attend various Trade Shows to further promote our companies and generate additional National interest.

We will make sure that you’re Motorhome or Campervan is fully protected when out on hire using two different methods:

Firstly: We will provide Full Comprehensive Motorhome Hire Insurance from a leading UK Insurance Company while it is out on hire. This insurance should not affect your own (Social, Domestic and Personal) insurance of your motorhome, as it is a separate and distinct policy and our standard Terms and Conditions of Hire Contract, which a hirer must sign prior to driving your vehicle, specifically states that in the event of any incident, the Hire Insurance Policy will always take precedance over the owners Social Domestic and Pleasure Insurance Policy for the vehicle.

Secondly: We will always secure a substantial Security Deposit (over and above the hire payment) prior to your motorhome going on hire. We take a deposit of £750 for every hire – not a credit card swipe, but by cleared funds into our Security Deposit account, and retain this sum until the vehicle is returned from hire and we have received a notification from the owner that everything is in order, then wewill return the security deposit to the hirer. 

We know that these measures fully protect owners of Motorhomes and Campervans from any financial loss, and that Security Deposits held by cash will additionally make hirers respect the vehicles travelled in – or their money is at risk.

We will send you full details about the hire and contact details for the hirer.

All you have to do is have your van ready for hire, take about 1 hour to show the hirer how to operate it during handover, and complete the Contract of Hire document.
